Rance Masheck
CEO, iVest+
Rance Masheck has a deep background in the financial services industry over the last three decades. In the 1990’s, Rance was a leading force in market education with the brands Star Trader and Teach Me to Trade. Seeing the need for better technology for traders, in 2000, he started OPUS (Options Positioning and Utilization Systems), which provided a subscription model for real-time data quote data for options screeners and advanced options analytics. This company was eventually acquired by TD Ameritrade in 2007, and Rance was brought on-board as Director of Options. He was later shifted to Director of Brokerage Integration after TDA purchased Think or Swim.
In 2010, he was moved to Director of Trade Architect, which is a highly visual and intuitive trading platform available to all TD Ameritrade customers at every level of experience. Rance directed the development cycle from inception, through development, to market implementation and rollout.
Following his tenure at TD Ameritrade, Rance founded Investage, an incubator with a primary focus on Fintech start-ups, and later began to build iVest+ under the Investage umbrella. iVest+ is a next generation trading platform built on today’s modern technology stack and offers a visual approach to trading stocks, options, and crypto. The platform also boasts an extensive Trade Journal, Trade Sharing capabilities, advanced charting, and much more. The platform is sold through White Label educational partners as well as through the direct-to-retail offering, Market Gear (www.marketgear.com).
